From the moment we decided to try Muddy Mutts in Maldon for our beloved chocolate lab, Barney, we knew we made the right choice. This was our first time using their services, and to say we were impressed would be an understatement. From the initial contact to the moment we picked up Barney, the professionalism and warmth of the staff were second to none. Barney is more than just a pet; he's a member of our family. So, finding a place that treats him with the love and care he deserves is paramount. The team at Muddy Mutts went above and beyond, ensuring Barney had a pleasant and comfortable experience. When we came to pick him up, the joy in his tail wags and the shine in his coat spoke volumes. It was clear he had as great a time as we had peace of mind. The service provided by the team at Muddy Mutts was exceptional. Their attention to detail, from the grooming to the personal touches, made all the difference. My two dogs absolutely love going to Muddy Mutts. One has a double coat and gets matted very easily, I bring him to muddy mutts instead of somewhere closer to me because they know exactly how to look after his type of fur. They both love going to get pampered and receive a lot of fuss, which they enjoy. I would definitely recommend.

I would love to recommend Muddy Mutts. Alfie is beautifully groomed every 5 weeks and is happy when I collect him not stressed at all. Great business 🐶

Would definitely recommend Muddy Mutts. Only the second visit with Aurora but there is such a lovely caring atmisphere and they explained fully the groom she would need and were full of good advice. When we collected Aurora she was completely relaxed and we could see she was happy. The groom was so well done. Can thoroughly recommend Muddy Mutts

Professional - YES 10/10 Clean and tidy - YES 10/10 Patient and caring - YES 10/10 Responsive - YES 10/10 All the above qualities are perfect, but by far the most important quality is that Odin is happy at the groomers and although not eager to get out of the car, he enjoys meeting Louisa and the team for a pamper day and always looks back at them when we leave, couldn’t be happier with MM. Odin is an 11 month old Briard, a big boy and very hairy, we like him to enjoy life, wander around forests, play in the sand, play with his frisbee etc. all this leads to a very messy dog, although we groom him every other day at home, he still gets matted and tangled. The team suggested (without any prompting from us), the best way to manage Odin. He is now going to have a brush every week at MM, then after the third week, he’ll have a full groom. We welcomed this idea, and have booked the “schedule” up to Christmas to see how it goes. I’m sure it’s going to be financially better for us, but most importantly Odin will not have to spend so many hours in one go at MM (that’s me reading his mind, he might actually like being pampered for hours). So thank you team for coming up with an Odin-Plan 🐾🐾

We love muddy mutts, we had a few bad experiences with a previous groomer but the team at muddy mutts have restored mine and Barneys faith! They take such good care of him and we wouldn’t take him anywhere else! ❤️🐾

We’ve been to Muddy Mutts a couple of times now with our Cockapoo and have had a great experience. They are really professional and if they are unsure what you want they call to double check. My parents Border cross Lakeland terrier also goes to Muddy Mutts now and they are over the moon with the experience and knowledge of the staff.

Willow has been going to Muddy Mutts for approx a year and she loves it !!! She has a groom and her nails clipped every 4 weeks. Approx 3 months ago the details of how her groom should be was recorded on their computer which saves time having to explain what is needed. In addition you receive a report card showing 2 photos of her post groom. It also lists what she had done and how she behaved during the session in case she was nervous but she looks forward to going. Last time she also had her teeth cleaned and a blueberry facial. It is a really professional, organised business. Everyone is extremely professional and absolutely LOVE dogs. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Tracey - Heybridge Basin

When my dog goes she is usually carrying some sort of grass seed or burrs in her fur as she loves to roll in them and they are like velcro on her. The whole team, especially Becci, at muddy mutts always sort her out and she looks gorgeous after. Good communication always.

I would 100% recommend Muddy Mutts! My 2 year old cocker spaniel gets his groom done by Becci who does an amazing job. My dog comes back with a perfect cut everytime and everyone is full of compliments! I wouldn’t go anywhere else ⭐️

Took my springerpoo to muddy mutts today after not being able to get to my usual groomers since august and they were amazing!! So friendly and did an amazing job!! My dogs fur was seriously matted! I was not expecting her to look as amazing as she did! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be taking her back!!

Our Italian Spinone went for his first hand strip today. It was exactly as we asked for and Otto came back very happy. Very friendly and professional - couldn’t recommend highly enough.

Molly is AMAZING! We come to Muddy Mutts for nail clipping and is amazing with our 2 labradors.(sometimes a little nervous) Molly is patient and knowledgeable and just fantastic. If we have a query she response with an honest and supportive answer and always has our pups interests first. So grateful to have Muddy Mutts in Maldon and would highly recommend to everyone!!! We love Muddy Mutts from grabbing from treatos for Theo to the raw food and the advice that Molly give us second to none. Theo had his first groom a few months ago and he came out so handsome and floofy! I don’t have the confidence to clip his claws but Theo trusts Molly with no hesitations. Thank you so much!

My cocker spaniel has been going to Muddy Mutts Dog Grooming since a puppy when Molly offered complimentary dog washes to get him used to going. I’ve never had a dog you likes going to the groomers, but Harry certainly does not shy away from this one. Thanks Molly for your puppy love

Molly has groomed my dog for about 4 years now. She knows exactly how I like to have my fur baby cut. She gives good advice & her prices are very reasonable. He always comes back looking fabulous & smells good too! Equally she is accommodating, prompt in replying & very caring. I’ve recommended her to two people who are just as happy with her service. Ted always walks around with his head high when he has been groomed by Molly. He smells gorgeous and she gets his shape perfect.

Couldn’t recommend molly enough, Harley comes out looking gorgeous and smelling absolutely amazing. As long as she’s grooming we will be going to her. Molly is so friendly and welcoming I couldn’t imagine leaving Harley with anyone else.

My dog is a bit of a drama queen and is fussy about his tail and paws. He is always very calm and content when I arrive to collect him. He always looks absolutely amazing and smells wonderful for days after seeing Molly. 100% recommend!
